A little about me

I'm a counselling psychologist with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and an MSc in Occupational & Organisational Psychology.

I have over seven years of experience across the corporate world and mental health. Today I work with adults on a wide range of challenges, from grief, anxiety and low mood to relationships, career decisions and the changes life brings.

I started Mind Leap Counselling to make thoughtful, professional support easier to reach, wherever you are. All my sessions take place online over Zoom.

My approach

Shaped around you, not a script

Counselling gives you the chance to unlearn, learn and relearn things about yourself: your feelings, your thoughts and the patterns that may be holding you back.

No two people come to counselling with the same story. The way we work together is shaped by your circumstances, and by your culture, family, beliefs and identity.

I draw on a combination of approaches:

  • Client-centred therapy

You set the direction. I listen without judgement and help you make sense of what you're experiencing.

  • Systemic therapy

We look at you within the wider picture of your life: your family, relationships and the patterns that pass between people.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

We look at how your thoughts, feelings and actions connect, and build practical tools for the situations you find hardest.

Together, we'll work out what fits you best, so you can find your own personal "why" and work through what's getting in the way.
